House margaritas at $7, and a guacamole to go with it

Weekdays 3 to 6 PM, the Burro Room runs its own card. A House Margarita is $7, or $24 for the pitcher. The Skinny Margarita is $8 ($25 a pitcher) and so is the Cadillac Margarita. A Paloma is $7, a Mexican Candy Shot $6, select bottles and drafts $5, and house wine $5 with select wines at $6.

The food side stays small and cheap. Grande Guacamole, Mi Queso and Nachos are $8 each, and so are the Mini-Chimi and the wings. A Cheese Enchilada or a Cheese Quesadilla is $4, tacos are $5 for chicken, beef or ground beef and $6 for fish or shrimp, and taquitos and a bowl of soup are $5.

Happy hour is for the bar. The prices apply to bar seating, so come to the Burro Room first and then ask for a stool.

Taco Tuesday, Cerveza Wednesday and a Sunday that runs until 6

Tuesday is Taco Tuesday: tacos are $5, fish or shrimp $6, with a house margarita at $7, a Cadillac at $8, and skinny or blended margaritas at $8. Happy Hour Magazine named it the Best Taco Tuesday.

Wednesday is Cerveza Wednesday, with $1 off all pints and bottles of beer. The draft list runs from Dos Equis Amber and Pacifico to Ballast Point Sculpin IPA.

Sunday Funday runs until 6 PM. A Bloody Mary or a Bloody Maria is $6, regular or habanero, and the Cadillac Margarita and the Skinny Margarita are $8.

A bar that has been remade twice and still has the big burro

The Burro Room is part of Mi Casa's history and a gathering place for drinks and time with friends. It got a makeover in 2011, when draft beer was added, and the bar and dining room were updated again in 2025 with new booths, tables and chairs. The big burro mural is still on the wall.

Regulars name bartenders Chuck and Diego, and the bar is where the room's neon sign says it best: eat, sleep, tequila, repeat. The full list of margaritas, cocktails, beer and wine is on the drink menu, and every plate is on the menu page.
